I don't care for Norton and it's a pain to get rid of entirely. The more I can keep it off my computer the better, as far as I'm concerned. The fact that it doesn't work now means that the landmarks it uses to find and delete all of the program are missing. This is why the suggestion to reinstall and then run NRT. Keep us posted. I'll try that then, I guess. I have not tried any other removal methods other than what was listed in my first post, and since the first two did absolutely nothing at all then the "landmarks" that NRT uses to find it should still be intact Although, given how virus-like this program seems to be, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Kaspersky thought it was a virus and already tried and failed to remove it, destroying the "landmarks" in the process XD.
Never thought to check that. I don't have any screenshots, but it honestly did not show up in the list of installed programs in the control panel. How odd. Anyways, I'm just glad that I've got this useless piece of software removed from my system again.
